This toolkit was created with input from school nutrition staff in several Midwest states, including Illinois. It includes everything needed to start a share table, including essential information and tips on preventing foodborne illness, working with health departments, communicating with staff, promoting share tables to students and caregivers, and evaluating your program. Resources are also included to support your work, including templates, signage, food safety process flows, and more.
